Safety Zone; Aerial Drone Display, Thames River, New London, CT.

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for the navigable waters of the Thames River in the vicinity of New London Waterfront Park in New London, CT. The temporary safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by an aerial drone display scheduled for September 6, 2025. During the enforcement period, entry of vessels or persons into this safety zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Long Island Sound.
