Temporary Final Rule; Cumberland River, Nashville, TN

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary emergency safety zone for navigable waters within Cumberland River Mile Marker 193.1 to 194.1. The temporary emergency safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by blasting operations for the Omohundro water treatment plant. Entry of vessels or people into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Ohio Valley.
