Special Local Regulation; Buck Island Channel, St Croix, USVI

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for certain navigable waters of the Buck Island Channel entrance near Buccaneer resort in St. Croix, USVI for the St. Croix Coral Reef Swim race. This special local regulation is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Buck Island Channel near St. Croix USVI by the swim race on November 9, 2025. This regulation prohibits persons and vessels from entering the regulated area unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Sector San Juan or their designated representative.
