Safety Zone; Cumberland River, Nashville, TN

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within Cumberland River Mile Markers 171 to 173. The temporary safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by blasting needed to install pipe and electrical conduits in an open cut trench for the Harpeth Valley Utility District (HVUD). Entry of vessels or people into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Ohio Valley.
