Safety Zone; Atlantic Ocean, Port Canaveral, FL

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters within a 100-yard radius of the vessel ‘LANDING PLATFORM VESSEL 1’ (LPV1), as it transits through territorial waters of the U.S. and Port Canaveral Harbor, and conducts cargo offload operations. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from the planned transit of vessel ‘LPV1’ with hazardous rocket booster cargo onboard. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Jacksonville (COTP) or a designated representative.
