Safety Zone; Corpus Christi Old Harbor Bridge Center Span Removal and Transport, Corpus Christi, TX

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on navigable waters of the Corpus Christi Inner Harbor, and Corpus Christi and La Quinta Shipping Channels. The zone will protect personnel and vessels from hazards during the removal of the Corpus Christi Old Harbor Bridge Center Span. The zone encompasses the area 500-yards around the Barge PROMETHEUS when moored at the entrance of the Corpus Christi Inner Harbor, and will follow the barge as it transits through the shipping channels to Gulf Coast Growth Ventures. Entry into these zones is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port.
