Special Local Regulation; Cow Key Channel, Atlantic Ocean, Key West, FL

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for the navigable waters under the two westernmost bridge spans of the Cheryl Cates Bridge over the Cow Key Channel in Key West, FL. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Key West, FL during the 52nd Annual Round the Island Race event. This regulation prohibits persons and vessels from entering the regulated area unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port (COTP) Key West or their designated representative.
