Safety Zone; Rainy Lake, City of Ranier, MN

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of Rainy Lake, near Ranier Beach Park, Ranier, MN. This safety zone is necessary to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards during a fireworks display on August 8, 2026. This rulemaking prohibits entry of vessels or persons into this safety zone during the enforcement period unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Marine Safety Unit Duluth or their designated representative.
