Safety Zone; SFSU Graduation Fireworks, San Francisco Bay, San Francisco, CA

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of the San Francisco Bay, San Francisco, CA in support of a fireworks display in McCovey Cove, on May 21, 2026. The safety zone is necessary to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by pyrotechnics. This rulemaking prohibits entry of vessels or persons into this safety zone unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector San Francisco, or their designated representative.
