Safety Zone; Lake Erie, Ashtabula, OH

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for navigable waters of Lake Erie within a 1000-foot radius of the Ashtabula Power Plant at 2133 Lake Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by demolition activities at the Ashtabula Power Plant. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Eastern Great Lakes, or their designated representative.
