Special Local Regulation; Charlotte Amalie Harbor, St. Thomas, USVI

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary special local regulation (SLR) for certain navigable waters of the Charlotte Amalie Harbor, St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands (USVI) for a fireworks display. The special local regulation will encompass all waters within a 1,000-foot radius of the barge vessel TOUCH AND GO. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters near Charlotte Amalie, USVI during the St. Thomas Carnival Fireworks Display 2026 on May 2, 2026. This regulation prohibits persons and vessels from entering the regulated area unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port San Juan or their designated representative.
