Safety Zone; Lower Mississippi River, Vicksburg, MS

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of the Mississippi River between mile marker 430 and 438. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel and vessels from potential hazards created by demolition of the Baxter Wilson Power Plant. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector Lower Mississippi River.
