Safety Zone; Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, U.S. Coast Guard Heartland District

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary moving safety zone for all navigable waters within a 500-yard radius around the barge PEGASUS as it departs the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) New Orleans, Louisiana and transits into the Gulf of America. This safety zone is necessary to protect the oversized tow, cargo, and the surrounding waterway. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port, or their designated representative.
