Safety Zone; Sandusky Bay, Sandusky, OH

The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of Sandusky Bay within a 150-yard radius of 221 W. Shoreline Drive in Sandusky, OH. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards during a fireworks event. This rulemaking prohibits entry of vessels or persons into this safety zone during enforcement periods unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Detroit.
