Mr. GOLDMAN of Texas. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize Officer Andrew Dilbeck of the Fort Worth Police Department upon his receipt of the 2026 State of Texas Law Enforcement Achievement Award for Professional Achievement, presented by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
dedication to public service, outstanding professional performance, and unwavering commitment to protecting the citizens of Fort Worth and communities throughout North Texas. His service reflects the highest ideals of the law enforcement profession.
Registration and Tracking Unit (S.O.R.T.), Officer Dilbeck has strengthened partnerships with community organizations, enhancing the department's ability to locate and monitor registered sex offenders experiencing homelessness within a rapidly growing metropolitan area.
apprehending of 182 felony fugitives wanted on S.O.R.T. warrants. His outstanding performance earned him selection as a Task Force Officer with the United States Marshals Service, where he also serves on the North Texas Fugitive Task Force Echo Team, working alongside federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to apprehend dangerous fugitives across more than 100 counties.
