Replaces paragraph (1) of 42 U.S.C. 12188(a) to (1) retain the reference to remedies and procedures in 42 U.S.C. 2000a–3(a) but make them subject to a new subparagraph (B) that imposes notice-and-cure requirements for civil actions alleging failure to remove architectural barriers to access in existing public accommodations, and (2) specify required contents of the written notice and the meaning of "notice specific enough."
