Exempts goods imported by or for use by small business concerns from the duties imposed under the national emergency declared on February 1, 2025 (Executive Order 14193, as amended by EOs 14197 and 14226). The exemption uses the statutory definition of “small business concerns” in the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 632).
Small businesses that import goods covered by those emergency duties would not have those tariffs applied, reducing immediate import costs for qualifying firms; implementation and verification would be handled by the relevant customs and enforcement authorities under existing laws and regulations.
