Adds distribution transformers to the existing advanced manufacturing production tax credit (Internal Revenue Code section 45X). The bill creates a new 10% production tax credit for the costs a taxpayer incurs to produce a distribution transformer (as defined by the Energy Policy and Conservation Act). The credit applies to distribution transformer components produced and sold beginning 90 days after enactment.
