Expands immigration consequences for fraud. If a noncitizen is convicted of, or admits to, certain fraud offenses, they can be denied entry or a visa (inadmissible) and can be removed from the United States (deportable).
The covered fraud includes misuse of Social Security numbers or cards, fraud involving identification documents, and fraud connected to COVID‑19 relief loans or grants. It updates the Immigration and Nationality Act’s lists of inadmissibility and deportability. It does not create new crimes or spending; it adds immigration penalties to specified fraud behavior.
