SEC. 1. Short title
- This Act may be cited as the Cost-of-Living Fairness Act.
SEC. 2. Income determination with respect to payments for insurance policies
- (a) In general
- Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a payment made by an individual for a covered insurance policy that provides a specified benefit to the individual or a member of the household of the individual shall be deducted from the income and resources of the individual in determining the eligibility of the individual, or any member of the household of the individual, for benefits or assistance (or the amount or extent of benefits or assistance) under any Federal program or under any State or local program financed in whole or in part with Federal funds.
- (b) Definitions
