Designates a day to honor the DACOR Bacon House and recognizes its historical importance to Washington, D.C., U.S. diplomacy, and civic life. The resolution recounts the House’s history — including its ties to the Anacostian inhabitants, enslaved labor, notable residents, and later use as DACOR’s headquarters — and names June 10, 2025, as DACOR Bacon House Bicentennial Day to mark the landmark and those who preserved it.
