Makes permanent a previously published exemption that allows certain school bus drivers to skip the under‑the‑hood (pre‑trip) vehicle inspection skills test when obtaining a commercial driver’s license. States that use the exemption must send the Secretary of Transportation annual reports for six years after enactment showing how many drivers obtained a commercial driver’s license under the exemption.
