Referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.
This bill aims to stop “judge shopping” by limiting when a single federal trial judge can issue a ruling that applies to the whole country. It would change federal court rules so that nationwide injunctions can’t come from a single-judge division. In short, one judge in a one-judge courthouse couldn’t block or require a policy for everyone in the United States on their own.
