Creates and supports a yearly National Adult Education and Family Literacy Week to raise public awareness about low adult literacy, numeracy, and digital skills and to encourage public, private, and nonprofit efforts to expand access to adult education and family literacy programs. The resolution highlights populations with particular needs (older adults, immigrants, people in prison, high school dropouts, parents, and those unemployed or on public assistance) and calls for broader community support for long‑term solutions, but it does not authorize new funding or require agencies to take action.
Referred to the House Committee on Education and Workforce.
