Creates and supports a National Latino Gastronomic Cuisine Week and urges federal agencies, state and local governments, colleges, and community groups to promote and celebrate Latino culinary traditions. It recognizes Latino cuisine as a valued part of U.S. cultural heritage and encourages activities such as culinary education, food festivals, cultural exchanges, and resource direction to boost visibility and appreciation.
The resolution is largely symbolic and advisory: it promotes awareness and coordination rather than authorizing new spending or imposing requirements on governments or private parties.
