Requires higher U.S. visa application fees for certain short‑term (B‑category) nonimmigrant applicants from countries that meet one or more negative criteria. Fees increase by steps (at least 50%, 100%, or 150%) depending on whether a country meets one, two, or all three of the listed criteria, and the Secretary of State must review country determinations monthly.
The change targets applicants from countries that (a) refuse to accept returned nationals, (b) are designated state sponsors of terrorism, or (c) are listed as Tier 3 for human trafficking. It directs the State Department to implement tiered fee multipliers and to update determinations on the first day of each month; no new appropriation or exemptions are specified in the text provided.
