SEC. 1. Short title
- This Act may be cited as the or the .
SEC. 2. Prohibition on removal
- (a) In general
- Notwithstanding any other provision of law, neither the President nor the Secretary of State may remove Cuba from the list of state sponsors of terrorism until the President makes the determination described in section 205 of the Cuban Liberty and Democratic Solidarity (LIBERTAD) Act of 1996 (). 22 U.S.C. 6065
- (b) Definition
- In this section, the term means a country the government of which the Secretary of State determines has repeatedly provided support for international terrorism pursuant to—
state sponsor of terrorism- section 1754(c)(1)(A) of the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (); 50 U.S.C. 4318(c)(1)(A)
- section 620A of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 (); 22 U.S.C. 2371
- section 40 of the Arms Export Control Act (); or 22 U.S.C. 2780
- any other provision of law.
- In this section, the term means a country the government of which the Secretary of State determines has repeatedly provided support for international terrorism pursuant to—
