Recognizes and honors the life, baseball career, and civil-rights contributions of Henry Louis “Hank” Aaron. The resolution recounts his early life, rise from the Negro leagues to Major League Baseball, record-setting achievements, the racism he confronted, his public service and honors, and his lasting legacy as an important figure in American sports and civil rights. It is a symbolic statement of respect and has no legal or funding effects.
