Requires the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Inspector General to appear before two congressional committees each year by October 1 to testify about the OIG’s work on preventing fraud and waste, its audit and investigative activities, program improvements and recommendations, and whether HUD has adequate resources to carry out its mission. The testimony must also cover any ongoing related activities and recommended steps to increase efficiency and accountability.
