This bill gives the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle an official national title: National Museum of Pop Culture. It does not make the museum part of the National Park System, and it does not allow any federal money to be spent on the museum because of this title.
What this means in everyday life: the museum keeps operating as it does now, but with added national recognition. There’s no new federal funding or federal control tied to the name change.
