This bill, called “No Tax Dollars for Riots,” targets nonprofit groups when their leaders commit certain crimes. If an officer or board member of a tax‑exempt nonprofit is convicted of specific federal offenses (sections 111 or 2101 of title 18), and the conduct happened while they were serving in that role, the nonprofit loses access to federal funds and its tax‑exempt status ends starting on the date of that conviction.
