U.S. in Expos Act
USA 6G Global Leadership Act
The bill centralizes and accelerates U.S. diplomatic and programmatic efforts to shape 6G standards and global telecom infrastructure—boosting U.S. firms' market opportunities, security influence, and connectivity abroad—while raising risks of higher costs, trade friction, reduced vendor competition, and strains on government resources and transparency.
To provide funding for administrative expenses of the Department of Homeland Security during any lapse in appropriations during fiscal year 2026, to require that the Department be responsive to congressional offices during such a lapse in appropriations, and for other purposes.
The bill keeps DHS administrative and safety functions running through funding lapses—reducing shutdown harm and costs—but does so by reducing Congressional control and fiscal transparency and risks privileging congressional communications over other services.
Qualified Immunity Accountability Act
The bill makes it substantially easier to hold federal and local officials civilly and criminally accountable for misconduct—expanding victims' access to remedies and deterrence—but shifts significant legal and financial risk onto officers and local governments and may affect policing decisions in urgent situations.
Community Health Workforce Development Act
The bill aims to improve community health workforce training and patient care through expert guidance and increased reporting, but does so at added federal cost, with reduced FACA oversight and increased administrative burden.
VOTE Act
The bill improves voters' ability to find and use their correct polling places through earlier, multilingual, and onsite notices, but does so at the cost of added expense and operational burdens for election officials and may still leave some populations without timely digital updates.
Military Financial Literacy Accountability Act
The bill aims to improve and better-target DoD financial education and transparency for service members, but centralizes control and adds costs while leaving some residual privacy risk if safeguards prove inadequate.
