Read twice and referred to the Committee on Environment and Public Works.
This measure would use Congress’s review powers to block an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rule about West Virginia’s plan to limit regional haze (air pollution that reduces visibility) for the second planning period. In short, it aims to stop that specific EPA rule from taking effect.
If this resolution becomes law, the EPA’s rule tied to West Virginia’s Regional Haze State Implementation Plan would be disapproved and could not move forward.
