Sets special House procedures to fast-track consideration of several measures: two joint resolutions to disapprove recent Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection rules (one on digital payment apps and one on overdraft lending), a bill that would limit district courts’ ability to grant injunctive relief, and a bill that would require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in Federal elections. It also tables two other House resolutions and blocks certain discharge motions. Debate time is limited for each measure and each consideration is subject to a single permitted motion to commit or recommit.
