Honors the Greensboro Four on the 65th anniversary of their 1960 sit‑in, recalls the events and national impact of those sit‑ins, recognizes sit‑ins as an important nonviolent method of social change, affirms the strength of racial and ethnic diversity, and urges States to include the Greensboro Four’s history in school curricula. The resolution is commemorative and educational in nature and does not create new programs, funding, or legally binding requirements.
