Reduce Duplication and Improve Access to Work Act

This bill lets states move some Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) block grant funds into Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) job training programs. If a state does this, it must file a combined state plan with the U.S. Departments of Labor and Health and Human Services. Also, no more than 15% of the money that gets moved can be held back for statewide workforce activities. These changes start on October 1, 2026.
