STOP China Act

Prohibits the use of specified federal transit and DOT funds to purchase, support, or build infrastructure for vehicles, rolling stock, or charging/fueling equipment produced or supplied by entities tied to certain foreign nations (notably the People’s Republic of China). Requires the U.S. Trade Representative to publish and update a public list of covered foreign-linked entities, allows narrow exceptions for inspections and safety research or testing, and imposes short administrative deadlines and transition provisions for existing contracts.
