This resolution supports setting September 22 as National Veterans Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Day. It also recognizes the Suicide Awareness and Remembrance Flag. The goal is to honor veterans lost to suicide and raise awareness about mental health for those who served. Communities could use the day to remember loved ones and show support, such as by displaying the flag or holding local events .
