Recognizes and celebrates National Nurses Week (observed annually May 6–12) and honors the role and contributions of nurses across the United States. It lists findings about nurses’ roles in patient care, public health, research, leadership, and advocacy, cites the size of the nursing workforce, and encourages people and organizations to observe the week with recognition, ceremonies, activities, and programs.
