Referred to the Committee on Armed Services, and in addition to the Committee on Veterans' Affairs, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
This bill would require the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense to provide a medical treatment called stellate ganglion block to people with post‑traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) who are veterans or currently serving in the military. In short, it aims to make this therapy available through VA and military health care for those diagnosed with PTSD.
