Cancels unobligated federal funds that had been reserved for federal electric-vehicle charging/fueling grant programs and the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program and directs those rescinded amounts to be deposited in the U.S. Treasury general fund to be used only to reduce the federal deficit. The change applies only to unobligated amounts — it does not reauthorize spending or affect amounts already obligated or spent.
Referred to the Committee on Appropriations, and in addition to the Committees on Energy and Commerce, and Transportation and Infrastructure, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
