SEC. 1. Short title

• This Act may be cited as the Utah Wildfire Research Institute Act of 2025.

SEC. 2. Additional Institute

• (a) In general
  • Section 5(b)(2) of the Southwest Forest Health and Wildfire Prevention Act of 2004 () is amended— 16 U.S.C. 6704(b)(2)
    • in subparagraph (B), by striking and at the end;
    • in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and; and
      • the State of Utah.
    • by adding at the end the following:
• (b) Conforming amendment
  • Section 5(e)(1) of the Southwest Forest Health and Wildfire Prevention Act of 2004 () is amended by striking and Coloradoand inserting Colorado, and Utah. 16 U.S.C. 6704(e)(1)
