Directs Americans to observe Memorial Day as a special day to remember and honor U.S. service members who died while serving as peacemakers and peacekeepers. It affirms public gratitude for more than one million U.S. service members who have given their lives and calls for expressions of respect, pride, and admiration for those sacrifices and for people freed by those efforts.
