Extends the deadline for the required annual report on military and security developments involving the People’s Republic of China from January 31, 2027 to January 31, 2030. It also broadens the report’s technology scope to explicitly include biotechnology and requires new analysis of the People’s Liberation Army’s likely strategic intent and how the PRC might conduct specific kinds of campaigns in a conflict over Taiwan, including cyber-enabled economic warfare, a cross-strait invasion campaign, and a blockade campaign.
