Rural LGBTQI older adults will get improved access to culturally competent sexual health and HIV services, backed by provider training and expanded nondiscrimination policies that reduce stigma and improve care quality.

Creates a new Rural Outreach Grant Program in the Older Americans Act to fund organizations that build partnerships with LGBTQI and other protected-class older adults in rural areas and provide comprehensive sexual health services, including HIV services. The Administration for Community Living may award grants to states, tribes, area agencies on aging, nonprofits and other eligible entities; applicants must meet partnership, needs-assessment, coordination, and certification requirements. The bill authorizes $5 million for each of FY2027 and FY2028 and requires the Assistant Secretary to set standards, prioritize older adults with greatest social need, coordinate with state/local agencies, and report to Congress every two years beginning within one year of the law taking effect.
