Recognizes and celebrates the role of Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander‑serving institutions (AANAPISIs) in educating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and other students; highlights program history, enrollment and degree statistics, and the program’s 18th anniversary. Encourages eligible colleges to pursue funding and develop programs to serve AANHPI students, and expresses support for creating an annual "Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander‑Serving Institutions Week" to be observed with appropriate activities and ceremonies across the United States and U.S. Pacific territories.
