Honors the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated — Chi Chapter at Talladega College on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, recognizes the chapter’s founding (chartered May 15, 1925), its 12 charter members, and its century of scholarship, leadership, and service. The resolution praises past and present members, highlights the chapter as an example of HBCU impact and Black women’s leadership, and directs the Clerk of the House to send an enrolled copy of the resolution to the Chi Chapter as a commemorative recognition.

This is a nonbinding, honorary House resolution that carries no funding or regulatory requirements; it is symbolic recognition of the chapter’s history and contributions to Talladega College and surrounding communities.
