Requires colleges and universities to list suicide-prevention phone contacts on student ID cards — or on the institution’s website if the school does not issue ID cards. The contacts must include the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, the Crisis Text Line, and a campus mental-health center or program chosen by the school. If one of the national hotlines ceases operation, the Secretary may name a similar replacement. The requirement takes effect one year after the law is enacted.
