To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 401 North Elm Street in Tuskegee, Alabama, as the "Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Post Office".
The bill formally honors the Tuskegee Airmen and standardizes the post office name—providing civic and administrative benefits—while imposing only modest local costs and no improvements to postal services.
CHARM Act
The bill aims to boost domestic critical-mineral supply, create business and job opportunities, and increase transparency while trading off potential taxpayer costs, environmental/residual risks near recovery sites, and added regulatory burdens for small firms.
Civil Preparedness for Agroterrorism Exercise Act of 2026
The bill strengthens coordinated testing and planning to reduce agroterrorism and public-health risks—helping responders, health systems, and food businesses be better prepared—at the cost of added public and private expense and potential expansion of surveillance or restricted disclosure of sensitive findings.
National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027
The bill substantially strengthens U.S. military readiness, technological defenses, service member benefits, and industrial resilience but does so at the cost of materially higher federal spending, expanded administrative and reporting burdens, procurement and privacy tradeoffs, and several provisions that raise legal and implementation risks.
Stop Secret Spending Act of 2025
The bill increases standardized public reporting and oversight of federal awards (including OTAs) and directs GAO clarity on contractor reporting, but it imposes administrative and compliance costs, leaves room for security or commercial nondisclosure, and may produce temporary gaps depending on which agencies are covered and implementation timing.
SAFEGUARDS Act of 2026
The bill secures dedicated, predictable funding to improve airport security technology and operations, but does so by locking up fee revenue in ways that may raise passenger fees, reduce budget flexibility, and offer limited enforceability for some provisions.
Lulu’s Law
The bill improves public safety by providing shark-warning alerts to protect beachgoers, but does so at the cost of more frequent alerts that could cause public alert fatigue and create operational burdens for emergency agencies.
ZOMBIE Act
The bill strengthens detection, consistency, and transparency around improper payments—benefiting taxpayers and oversight—at the cost of increased administrative and compliance burden, privacy and data‑sharing challenges, and some timing/visibility risks.
$2.50 for America’s 250th Act
The bill creates a new $2.50 Semiquincentennial commemorative coin that can generate collector interest and potential revenue and may streamline some cash transactions, but it also risks administrative and production costs (and equipment upgrade burdens) that could fall on taxpayers and businesses if sales or adoption don't cover expenses.
