Wisdom, Justice, Moderation
Protect Children’s Innocence Act
The bill increases federal protection against nonmedical genital surgeries on minors and criminalizes facilitators, but in doing so creates new federal criminal exposure for providers and parents, narrows medical exemptions, and risks federal overreach and legal uncertainty that could reduce access to gender‑related care for minors.
Special Interest Alien Reporting Act of 2025
The bill increases transparency and provides policymakers with regional and historical data on alleged higher‑risk noncitizen encounters to improve oversight and targeting, but it raises substantial risks of stigma and profiling, may expose sensitive operational details, and imposes ongoing reporting costs on DHS and taxpayers.
Gulf of America Act
Expressing support for rural communities across the United States as stewards of the environment, major suppliers of United States energy resources, critical providers of food production and manufacturing capacity, and drivers of national economic stability, and recognizing the work of the House of Representatives in the 119th Congress in support of those vital communities.
The bill directs substantial new investments and regulatory changes to strengthen rural infrastructure, health care, and jobs, but does so while rolling back some environmental and appliance rules and supporting fossil-fuel expansion—trading clearer near-term economic and service benefits for increased emissions, potential health risks, and fiscal costs.
Congressional Gold Medal For Inspiring Great Heroism and Tenacity (FIGHT) Act
End H-1B Now Act
The bill tightens certain immigration-based work and training pathways to encourage hiring of U.S. workers and reduce some federal spending, but does so at the cost of limiting opportunities for foreign professionals, disrupting employer staffing and medical training capacity, and creating legal and administrative uncertainty.
___ Act
The bill centralizes and clarifies federal ID and citizenship verification for Federal elections to reduce ineligible voting and give officials enforcement tools, but it raises significant risks of disenfranchisement and administrative burdens for vulnerable voters and election administrators.
Making American Elections Great Again Act
The bill seeks clearer federal rules for apportionment, redistricting timelines, citizenship data collection, and uniform voter ID/citizenship verification, trading potential improvements in data and uniformity for heightened risks of census undercounts, shifted representation and funding away from immigrant communities, legal challenges, increased election administration burdens, and possible voter disenfranchisement.
Clear Skies Act
The bill strengthens federal investigation and enforcement to deter harmful atmospheric releases and increases public reporting and clarity for agencies, but it also creates criminal and civil risks, regulatory uncertainty, and potential environmental and fiscal downsides from narrowed federal oversight and broad definitions that could chill research and impose costs.
No Tax on Home Sales Act
The bill eliminates federal capital-gains tax on primary-residence sales to give broad tax relief to homeowners (while preserving basic married-couple rules), at the cost of reduced federal revenue and a benefit tilt toward wealthier home sellers that could exacerbate inequality or require fiscal offsets.
